Maker & Restorer of Violins, Violas, Cellos & Double Basses.
I have been making musical instruments for over 30 years. I started with cellos and progressed to violas. In the mid eighties whilst working with Roger Dawson in Rotherhithe, London I added double basses to my luthier/maker repertoire. Unfortunately I cannot quote an exact number as the records were lost in a flood. Production, if it can be called that is limited to two or three instruments a year as my work as a repairer and restorer keeps me well occupied. I have recently added Jay Haide cellos to my range of cellos for sale as they provide a nicely made and an atractive instrument priced between the very cheapest instruments on the market and my own.
